Burn them in a well-ventilated space and extinguish the flame with a snuffer instead of blowing it out to prevent smoke and soot.
For the best results, burn your candle for no more than four hours at a time and always allow it to cool completely before relighting. The first burn should melt the entire top layer of wax to the edges to prevent a memory ring. Trim the wick to ¼ inch before each use to ensure a clean, even burn. Follow common guidelines, like the “3-hour candle rule”, and discontinue use when only ¼ to ½ inch of wax remains to prevent the container from overheating and keep your candle burning safely.
