The right table lamp sits no taller than half the height of the table it's on, and close to eye level when you're seated. As a general guide: end tables suit a lamp 61cm to 81cm tall, nightstands suit 51cm to 71cm, and console tables suit 76cm to 91cm. In a smaller room, keep the lamp on the shorter side so it doesn't overwhelm the space.
